CDC Pre-Development Fund
The CDC Predevelopment Grant Fund is specifically tailored to support the initiatives of CDCs in Memphis’ under-resourced communities and is essential for their continued success in driving neighborhood revitalization and fostering community development.
This fund is designed to provide financial assistance for crucial predevelopment activities such as:
Site Assessments and Feasibility Studies: Funds may be allocated to cover the costs associated with assessing potential project sites, conducting feasibility studies, and determining the viability of proposed initiatives.
Design and Planning: Funds may be provided to support the development of conceptual designs, architectural renderings, and master plans required to visualize and communicate project objectives effectively.
Community Engagement and Outreach: Funds may be available to facilitate community outreach programs, public consultations, and stakeholder engagement activities, ensuring that community voices are heard and projects are developed in collaboration with the neighborhoods they aim to benefit.
The fund is designed to empower CDCs to overcome funding barriers, accelerate project initiation, and maximize their positive impact on underserved neighborhoods.
